Portland Protestors Restitution Fund

On the 1-year anniversary of George Floyds murder, a protest occured in downtown Portland, Oregon. The protest was in commenaration of George Floyds life and solidarity with the people of Minneapolis. Events that occured that night led to multiple arrests and a protestor being charged with $20,605 in restitution fees.
After nearly 2 years of pre-trial and on-and-off housing and employment struggles, a deal was worked out with the district attorneys office. Part of that deal is paying restitution to 2 businesses that were looted and damaged. This total comes from broken windows and the entire value of what was looted, even though it's clear that the protestor charged was not responsible for the full amount of damages to the two properties on that night.
The amounts owed to each business are: $11,983 to Starbucks, and $8,622 to Estate Jewelry Co. They were also charged with 5 years of probation, but it will get cut in half to 2.5 years if we can pay off the full amount in that time.
After 2 years of pre trial and numerous doxxes from far right adgitators this protestor has been through extreme stress levels and will continue to have to deal with this for the next several years with probation/restitution and filed charges against them now. On top of a full time job and struggles around current housing costs and bills any help would be massivly appreciated to help them in their fight against the state charges and legal fees they now are stuck with.
