Portosystemic Shunt Surgery (Liver Shunt)

Hi, my name is Evelyn and my 4 month old Siberian Husky Makita needs an urgent procedure. She was diagnosed with a liver shunt and without surgery the outcome is fatal. She has the willingness to fight and we want to give her the chance to live a long happy life. The surgery will supply blood back to her liver hence helping her liver filter out toxins. She will no longer have head pressure, throw up, or feel poisoned after the surgery. The medicine she is on manages her symptoms, but it only buys us time to get her this surgery.
