Possum the kitty needs your help
Donation protected
Last week I rescued a kitty who had recently been seen at Walnut Hills High School looking raggedy and drinking out of a frozen fountain. I was able to trap him and bring him to Ohio Alleycat Resources (OAR) for free neuter and vaccines via their community cat grant. I named him Possum due to his likeness to one! While at OAR, he was found to weigh only 8lbs under all of his medium fluffy fur (average is 11lbs for healthy males). They also discovered that he had a painful, cracked canine tooth and recommended following up with a regular vet. He was brought to Jaax veterinary clinic who removed his tooth and also ran a fecal test because he had terrible diarrhea (results were negative fortunately, so he was probably just stressed). The vet estimates him to be 5-7 years old. Currently Possum is recovering in a foster home and will be released back to Walnut Hills in about a week, unless he decides to show that he is friendly and wants a home. The bill was $693.95 which was an unexpected expense on my end. I have created this fundraiser to assist in covering these costs which is charged to my credit card. If you would like to donate to me directly (without fees), my Venmo is @Jeannine-Barker and my PayPal is @JBarker589. Thank you for your consideration!
Also, if you would like to assist with feeding Possum once he is released, please let me know this as well. He will need the community’s support!
