Post 1534 Repairs

Hi, my name is Jeff Cole. I am the Post Commander of VFW Post 1534, in Desert Hot Springs. During my time as Commander we have been turning our Post around. We have reconnected with our community and have been helping our local Veterans. We just recently connected with Shea's Veterans House and also donate to our local Food Now program. Our new leadership believes in living by the military values we were taught during our time on active duty. Also, that even though we are no longer active, as Veterans and Americans, our watch is never over. So we dedicate ourselves to giving back to our fellow Veterans and community. Over the past three months, our Post has been dealing with vandalism from a past member who is no longer with Post 1534. We have had our two mini split a/c's drained of their freon; which lead to the a/c's needing repairs, our gas hose on our Van which we use to attend events and support other Veteran organizations was cut and our outdoor lighting has been broken. We are a non-profit organization which struggles in the summer months because of Season. We are asking for donations to assist with these repairs as well as getting better outdoor security cameras to better cover all sides of our building. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
