Post-Fire: Help Jed Goldin Get Back on His Feet
Donation protected
Jed Goldin is by far the nicest guy I know. He's the first to volunteer to help you move, will spontaneously bring over a six-pack and snacks for the big game, and will be there for you to help you out of a jam. We met back in East Meadow, NY in 1994, attending High School together, and have been longtime friends ever since. A humble and mild-mannered guy, with a wicked sense of humor and a hard-working demeanor, Jed is what you look for in a best friend - but more importantly in a human being.
On the morning of January 28, mere hours before Winter Storm Kenan (aka the "Bomb Cyclone") wreaked havoc and dumped snow all across NYC, Jed's apartment building in East Harlem caught fire. He's physically fine, thank the Lord, but he lost his home, and with it all his worldly possessions. These funds are going to go toward getting him back on his feet after such a tragic loss. If you've been fortunate enough to have had Jed Goldin touch your life, be it on the sports field, at the local watering hole, or having been served at the many fine dining establishments he's worked at, I encourage you to give what you can - whether it's $5, $50, or more - to help Jed get back on his feet and rebuild his life.
