Hi Everyone,
I am committed to supporting people who are trying to get well and have not found the best, or any, solution yet . I am passionate about trying to provide health solutions instead of treating symptoms. I am passionate about Alternative and Integrative Healthcare and Wellness because I believe it can help provide those solutions.
I have had very good training to this point and I now have a job as an Assistant Professor so I am already starting to share the knowledge that I have gained. But I need specific training in Health Sciences Research. For example, there are classes on everything from Mixed Methods in Health Research, which is a particularly complicated topic, to Protocol Preparation for the study of Therapeutic Interventions. Oxford is based in the UK and it is ranked the top health sciences research training program in the world. There are 20,000 applicants for this program each year. As I am in the top 20 Applicants I have been accepted into their program. And I am working to pay the bill but I also need your help. The program costs over $70,000US over three years with tuition, travel, lodging and food. Because of the great costs involved, I am reaching out to ask your help in pursuing my dream
Would you help me change and improve healthcare?
I have started on that process with my masters and dissertation work in Acupuncture, working with veterans with PTSD. In my dissertation study done with Dr. Susan Wagner, we were able to take veterans back to just occasionally having an issue (to sub-clinical levels as measured by the PCL-C) in eight sessions. The potential for cost savings to the USA, to veterans and to their families is important. The recovery of quality of life for veterans is critical. The peace of mind this gives family members changes lives.
Would you help me change and positively influence healthcare?
With your help and this additional training, I believe that I can make a significant difference.
