Postmarked film helps ALS awareness

Ron Hunting is a friend of many in the Phoenix theatre community. He is also a friend with ALS, a deadly disease which is taking his life. Ron wrote a dark comedy about letter carriers which had a staged reading last year. Gene Ganssle saw the play and thought it would make a funny feature film, and "Postmarked" was born. We are funding the August shoot with this campaign. When released, this film will tour festivals and seek distribution. It will also be used to increase awareness of Ron's disease and fight ALS, with the majority profits from distribution being donated to ALS research. Our dreams are big, our budget small, but we have a great group of professionals working to make this a reality.
