Post-Op Aid for Jade

Hi y'all,

My name is Becca, and I've had the pleasure of having Jade in my life over the past decade. For those of you who know her well, you know that she is as strong and tenacious as she is kind and giving. Her life has in many ways, shaped her to be these things.

Over the last months Jade increasingly suffered from loss of breath, poor digestions and her quality of life took a drastic downturn. Then In February, she had emergency surgery for a suspected sarcoma. What transpired was the removal of an 8 lb. benign tumor from her abdomen. For the mommas in the room, you heard correct. Jade had been living with a mass the size of a child. To say that her life was impacted is a true understatement.

Jade is no stranger to surgery, making the procedure the tenth of her life. She is no stranger to struggle either, having weathered a lifetime of CPTSD, endometriosis and fibromyalgia. She is the poster-woman for strength in adversity, working her way up through the healthcare ranks, and sharing her knowledge of pain to help others heal. Through her current work at a chiropractic clinic, she has been squirreling away a savings to go towards her first home. When the surgery last month became imminent, it also became apparent that her savings would be drained for her recovery.

Jade has survived so much in her life, and with our help she will survive this too. Funds raised from this will be used during her eight weeks of recovery. She is returning to work after three weeks due to financial necessity, and as we all know, her healing time will be drastically impacted.
