Post-storm Recovery for RRSQ Businesses
Donation protected
On Friday, May 10 2024, a storm of historic proportions rolled through Tallahassee FL, dealing major damage to businesses in the iconic Railroad Square Art District. In addition to losing property, many of these folks will likely be unable to reopen for business any time soon.
Please consider contributing to this fund, which will be distributed to businesses owners who have been impacted.

Edit: In the interest of getting this fund up as quickly as possible and keeping the focus on those impacted, I did not include personal information about myself in the fundraiser description or my posts about it.
There have been some questions about who I am and why I am raising this money, so I will take the time to clarify my connections to the park and my motivations.
I've served on the boards for multiple nonprofit organizations located in RRSQ, as well as the City of Tallahassee Special Events Committee, and have helped organize arts & culture events in Tallahassee since 2017. I have deep ties to the Tallahassee Arts community, especially with respect to RRSQ.
I am in communication RRSQ management, COCA, and other stakeholders about distribution, though like tens of thousands of Tallahassee residents, I don't have power or a reliable Internet connection. Once that is resolved, I will work with all tenants to ensure that funds are distributed directly to them as they see fit with no strings attached.
