Post-stroke recovery for Ann Angell

Donation protected
Hi all - as many of you know, our mother, Ann Angell, suffered a catastrophic stroke in August 2022. She has made remarkable strides in her recovery, surpassing many of our worst initial fears and proving to us just how strong she really is.

As part of her ongoing recovery, her doctors have recently encouraged us to get neuromuscular electrical stimulation devices for both her arm and leg on the stroke-affected side. It is our hope and the hope of her doctors that these "e-stim" devices will aid her in regaining strength and movement in her right arm and leg.

Unfortunately, these devices are not covered by insurance, and they are costly. While we've been hesitant to ask for financial help for many of the costs incurred over the past year, we cannot deny our mom the chance to regain this strength.

We are beyond thankful for everyone's support up to this point, and we will be so grateful for anything you are able to give toward this next phase of Mom's recovery.

Thank you!
