Pott's Family Support

Donation protected
The Potts family and our community has suffered an enormous loss with the passing of our “angel” Maddie Potts.

Maddie Potts, suffered a brain aneurysm on September 23, 2017 while taking a penalty kick during her soccer game.  She later passed away at the hospital on September 24, 2017,

The process of mourning has been difficult for all of us. The strength of the Potts family during this horrific time has helped each and every one of us try to heal and recover in some capacity amongst this tragedy. Our community has received constant support, hugs and faith from the Pott’s family to move forward in Maddie's name and honor. This exemplifies the type of people that the Potts family are. As they mourn they continue to support each and every one of us. As the days continue, they have taught us that we need to continue forward and they continue to show us how to honor sweet Maddie's legacy and how to honor who she was.

This fund is set up so that the Potts family can get some ease to start healing and rebuilding their very different lives. As their life moves forward they will have the unfortunate struggle to continue to find the way to do this. They will need to take the time needed to take the steps towards healing. The reality is that the funeral expenses were high. This was done not only to honor their daughter but it also allowed for all of us to take part in her celebration of life. The reality is that they need to take this time to support one another and not rush back to work to pay for these expenses. The Potts family would be the first people to do this for all of us in our time of need and they have shown us this on multiple occasions.

Scholarship funds have been set up in Maddie's name but this fund is a little different. This fund will help the family directly so they can take as much time as they need to try to rebuild their lives. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Potts family directly to assist in this healing process.

They have taught us all that nothing should be taken for granted.

They have taught us all to live life with no regrets.

They have taught us all how to support one another.

They have taught us all that crocs are back in style- LOL

Even in their darkest days they have told and shown us all their renewed faith in humanity. This gift for the Potts family is our way as a community to thank them for who they are and to let them know that each and every one of us continue to stand with them during this difficult time.
