Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District Thank You

Tax deductible
The wildfires that have ravaged Colorado this year have been devastating.  One, the Cameron Peak Fire, has personally hit home for our family.  Our patriarch, Thane Schureman, helped create 7 beautiful reservoirs up the Poudre Canyon in the early 1900's.  He kept one, Barnes Meadow, for our family.  We have LOVED this property for 4 generations - it is a member of our family, and generations of memories and nostalgia are deeply connected with it.

On August 21st, the Cameron Peak fire finally took over our land.  The firefighters have worked around the clock trying to spare it and save the beauty of the Poudre Canyon, all while keeping residents and visitors safe from harm.  We are so grateful for everything they have done (and continue to do - the fire is still burning!)  to help preserve what makes Colorado breathtaking.

Please join me in gathering funds to try to thank these wonderful heros.

Warmest Regards,

Brooke Michaels Medosch & the Barnes Meadow Family (Schureman, Michaels, Lear, Elliott)
