Poultney Welsh Church Help Bldg Preservation & Utilities

This Go-Fund-Me appeal for the Poultney Welsh Church Preservation Alliance began May 24, 2021. Progress has been made. We invite your help so they may reach their current preservation goal needs. All gifts are most gratefully appreciated by the non-profit.

Donations are for the benefit of the "Poultney Welsh Church Preservation Alliance and Presbyterian Fellowship, Inc.” (PWCPA), stewards since 2020 of this historic property dedicated January 1, 1901.

PWCPA is an I.R.S. 501(c)(3) charitable, educational, religious, or scientific non-profit entity, EIN# 85-1619124 in Poultney, Rutland County, Vermont. It is chartered and registered with the Vermont Secretary of State.

The historic building was also the 1988 founding site of the Poultney Area St. David’s Society, an I.R.S. 501(c )(7) fellowship non-profit.

Available to the community-at-large, the site has hosted many Welsh heritage and community events throughout its history.

Under the care of PWCPA's all volunteer stewards, the building remains available to the community-at-large for events, and it continues to hold Sunday morning worship services officiated according to the Presbyterian doctrine spoken in English. All are welcome.

The historic structure has continued needs for its restoration and upgrades.

Its first GoFundMe monetary goal enabled it to finalize ownership of the property from the Albany, New York Presbytery, and then begin work on upgrades to the building.
