My friend Hassan is a journalist from Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and this is his story and message:
"I am journalist Hassan Al-Zaanin, 29 years old, and I live in Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.
I am married and have a child named Adam. I work in journalism. I try to convey to the world a picture of the reality in northern Gaza. I try to document the suffering of the people and the images of the destruction and bombings carried out by the Israeli occupation.
I have two brothers, Abdullah and Faker. I have a sister named Mai. I also live with my mother who runs my family because my father passed away.
My family and I were living in my house which was unfortunately targeted and the family car was set on fire. So I lost my house, my car and all the equipment I used to work in the media field.
We left the city where I lived and now we live in a tent. We we no longer have any basic materials. . We have no home.
In May, an Israeli missile fell on my brother Abdullah and he was seriously injured in the extremities of his hand and foot. Abdullah lost parts of his hand. Today he can no longer work and has lost his dream of working through computers and the Internet. We need your help to save the whole family.
We have to travel abroad in search of security and stability in a country where he lives. there is calm, security and safety. We have to travel in order to treat my brother Abdullah so that he can return to his previous life, I need to travel so that I can create a new life for my family. We need your help.
For this, the amount we need is €50,000, We need your help.
