POUR IN to The Empty Cup - Knoxville, TN

For the past eight years, The Empty Cup Coffeehouse has been pouring into our community, providing a welcoming and warm space for groups, families, friendships, counseling services, schools, events, bible studies, meetings, and more. Through their dedication to foster care and adoption, they have provided countless supplies and resources to local families, schools, and non-profits. This coffeehouse is more than a business. It is a MINISTRY.

In January 2024, ice and snow hit Knoxville, TN unlike any storm in the last 30 years. The Empty Cup was forced to close its doors for eight business days. One-third of their month was lost. During this time, their boiler and alarm system required a major repair. In addition, they suffered loss of inventory, having to throw out and replenish all that had soured and spoiled during the storm.

The Empty Cup needs our help, friends. They have been hit hard. January was unkind. In order to keep their doors open and remain a staple of our community they need our gifts to lift them out of their financial distress.

We believe that the Lord God can do mighty works with mustard seeds. As owner Coby has said, "Life happens here. People are transformed, encouraged, equipped, enlightened... Empty cups are filled here." She has seen it - day in and day out.
