Power of Pink - Never Give Up - Jess's 3rd Fight

Dear Family and Friends,

Our updated story/bio on “The Light of Our Lives”, Jessica. Unfortunately, after three years of fighting through chemo, radiation, surgeries, tears, pain, and sadness, the cancer continues to grow despite many efforts to rid this terrible disease. With this update, she begins her 3rd fight with new plans, medicines, and HOPE. (The third time is a charm!! :)

To kick off this process, she was able to start a new infusion of chemo to begin killing the cancer before heading to MD Anderson in Houston in 3 weeks. During this stay for three days, she will be involved in a clinical study using her car T cells as well as many scans and lots of testing. Once she is done with that, she will head home until July then she will go back to MDA for the actual trial which she will be there over a month.

With this opportunity comes lots of travel, living partly in Dallas and partly in Houston. This is an amazing opportunity, however it comes with high costs, especially considering the constant travel for Jessica and her support system. Unfortunately, she is no longer receiving a paycheck as she is not physically or mentally able to go to work. This has brought a huge burden on our family, putting money as a stressor along with a ton of unknowns.
