Update 4.26.2023: My family has burglarized again this Monday 4.24.2023; there are no words to describe what they are going through. While reports have been filed there is no movement with the insurance company and no police at this time. The greatest need right now is funding for a temporary vehicle as my family needs it for school and work: Our goal is to raise at least $3,000 towards the cost of a rental car and a computer that my son needs for school. We only need a little over $2,000 and we'll meet that specific goal!

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm trying to help my parents Jim and Regina as well as my son Josiah. On Saturday, April 22nd, they were the victims of a burglary in Fresno, CA. Their vehicles were stolen along with their personal identification, banking information and my son's computer that he used for school (he's attending college in Fresno). While a police report has been filed, we have no updates or progress on insurance or any reimbursement to support the items lost. They now have to worry about identity theft and the absence of transportation (my mom, Regina and my son Josiah both need vehicles to go to work and school). My parents are on a fixed income and my son is a student (his laptop was taken which he used for school).

What's amazing to me is that they have not displayed anger towards anyone, their tears and pain come from a place of sadness and anxiety; my 20-year-old son simply said 'Perhaps that individual needed my stuff more than I did'; this despite all that occurred.

My heart aches for them during this time, and I know there is only so much I can do; so I'm asking others to stand in the gap with them and provide support financially through a donation, prayers, and thoughts.

Lastly, I need to share that all donations received will go directly to assisting my parents and my son with the expenses associated with the losses they incurred.

I am grateful for a platform such as this and humbled by anyone who gives, prayers and thinks of my family during this challenging time.
