Koda’s Eye Surgery

Hi, my name is Mateo and I’m trying to raise money for my 5 year old Siberian Husky, Koda. Koda was recently diagnosed with cataracts which has reduced his vision close to none in his left eye. His right eye currently has cataracts as well, but have not yet gotten to the extent of his left eye. I took koda to animal eye care where unfortunately, the doctor said the only way to ensure koda does not go blind in the future is to perform the cataract surgery. The doctor described his current seeing situation as imagine going in a hot shower with glasses on, wait for the lenses to fog and that’s how Koda’s sees. Koda is only 5 years old and I don’t want him to have to go through the next chapters of his life unable to see. All funds donated will go towards the costs of the surgery itself ($3,000) and the follow up appointments and medicine for after treatment ($1,000).
