As we battle the Coronavirus Pandemic across the world, healthcare workers put their lives on the line fighting to save people from the effects of the virus.
As a group of doctors in the UK and Ghana, we want to help some of our Ghanaian colleagues in the hospitals across the country keep supplied with PPE to help prevent them from contracting and spreading the virus easily.
Ghana, like any other country in the world is beginning to feel the rise in cases however unlike most of the Western world, their national health system does not have the funding to provide their healthcare workers with enough Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to those at the front lines.
Along with the charity, MOTEC Life, we are aiming to raise £100,000 to buy 30-50,000 PPE (N95) masks, suits and gloves which will be sent to Ghana in the fight against CoViD19 to frontline testing staff and critical care staff.
Please help us to achieve our aim quickly, as the supply of PPE continues to run low and prices continue to rise.
Even a donation as small as £2 is enough to buy a full PPE suit which will protect a Ghanaian healthcare worker against CoViD19 and help them to continue to treat patients in the ever worsening situation.
