PPE & Cleaning Supplies for Stanton Staff
Donation protected
Dear Stanton College Prep alumni and friends of the school,
Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Stanton will open their doors to students on August 20, putting the teachers who have no other option but to go to work, at a very high risk of catching and potentially further spreading the virus to their families. In order to mitigate the risks as best as possible for their students and themselves, many of the teachers have been spending out of their own pocket to buy personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning supplies for their classrooms. Teachers should not have to sacrifice their own pay to make the school a safe place for students and staff.
Covid-19 has tested all of us in ways we never thought possible. Stanton is no different. Therefore it will take a community effort to get through this unprecedented challenge, which is why we are asking anyone who can, to chip in what they have to help Stanton teachers return to school with the supplies they need to stay safe.
For most of us who attended Stanton, we had nothing close to the experience that today's students must adapt to. Yet, we are still, despite however long ago it was, Stantonians in someway. So let's do what we can to give back and be grateful we are not still in high school (Covid or no Covid ).
All money raised will be given to the teachers themselves in the form of gift cards, with the aim to send 80 cards of $25, which should cover most teachers.
If we reach $500, the teachers have agreed to give us a virtual tour of the Teachers' Lounge!
If we reach $1000, the teachers will do a TikTok dance challenge (to be posted on other Social Media platforms as well).

Thanks to all, any donation helps
