Rush PPE to the COVID-19 Frontlines
Due to the amazing response of this community, we exceeded the goal in our first fundraiser! Thank you!
All the funds have been spent on PPE for our frontline heroes, nationwide. See details of what we purchased and where it went in our transparency report.
A large portion of gear went to the Navajo and Tohono O’Odham Nations. Supplies also went to a police department outside of Chicago, NYU Hospital, and an underground network of nurses getting PPE inside ERs and ICUs even when hospital bureaucrats try to stand in the way.
Our work is NOT DONE:
The need for supplies on the frontlines is limitless.
Underserved communities are hit particularly hard and their frontline workers do not have the most basic supplies. This crisis has further exposed the economic disparities and the challenges faced by tribal and rural communities.
Big city hospitals typically get the resources they need. But as we all know, these are not typical times. Doctors and nurses in NYC and other major US cities are being asked to re-use isolation gowns and masks day after day. They are meant to be disposed of from patient to patient. We cannot solve this problem entirely on our own, but we sure can help.
We’ll continue to focus on high-impact aid to unmet needs.
We have sourcing for PPE lined up. We are ready to buy today.
What we need now is YOUR DONATIONS to fund purchases NOW. Please donate so we can continue to provide this essential service to our frontline workers and underserved communities.
Please support our frontline heroes! #inthistogether
