Please help Cheryl

Hello there friends! I am reaching out to the pool community to help support a great friend of mine, Cheryl Baglin. Many of you know her and love her passion for life and for pool. For those who do not know her, she recently started playing on the WPBA pro tour, competes in events around Florida, commentates and donates her time helping the rising junior players.

Recently, Cheryl became ill and developed stomach pain and fevers. She went to the ER, and the doctors found a large mass that was infected. It was attached to her stomach and bowel. She had emergency surgery to remove it. They removed half of her stomach and 12 inches of her colon during surgery. Unfortunately, while placing the NG tube down into her stomach, the catheter punctured a hole in her stomach. She was rushed back to surgery to repair the hole.

Just when we were hopeful things would take a turn for the better, Cheryl developed more pain, vomiting and diarrhea. After further investigation, she was taken back for a 3 rd emergency surgery, and it was found that a portion of her bowel was necrosing. The entire intestine was inflamed and very fragile. The doctor had to remove another 12 inches of her intestine. For now, she has a colostomy bag, tubes in her for nutrition and is having a hard time breathing.

Cheryl is a good friend and loves the pool community. She has already been in the hospital (and out of work ) for over three weeks and will remain there indefinitely. She lives with her mom Dianne and Aunt Judy. Please open your hearts to help in any way you can!! Any donations will be incredibly appreciated and go towards her medical bills and mounting expenses.
