Wendi Mayhew Memorial Fund
Wendi loved music and singing. She loved being with friends and sharing on the computer and cell phone with emails, text and pictures and loved being with her 10 year old son, Brendan. She was proud of his accomplishments but was stern with his mistakes and a 10 year old can have a few. She loved to share stories and laugh with her family.
Wendi was a loving and a loved young lady. She was always willing to give help to those who needed it and passed that trait on to Brendan. He too will hold the door for anyone following him into a building and always willing to help his "Memaw" who is restricted to a wheelchair right now, He is always looking to see how he can help his :Pappaw: or what he could learn from him.
Wendi was taking care of Brendan and her mom and I, bothof us recovering from health issues. She always made sure all three were fed, clothed and had what they needed for the time she might have to be away for groceries or get away breaks. She managed the medicine and transported her us to doctor appointments and theropies and took Brendan to school when he had to be there early.
Wendi just started a new and exciting career as a real estate agent and was looking forward to supporting herself and her son Brendan in a better life. She had not reached the point that she felt she could afford life insurance. Unfortunately she left this world because of a tragic accident before she could make that happen.
My hope is that her friends (close, casual and unknown) and family will contribute to her memorial fund. Maybe we can give back to her what she did in her time with us, a means to help Brendan and others carry on her memory.
Feel free to share.
God Bless and Be with us all.
