Curtis Clark - Our Brave Warrior
The War against Cancer is on! Several years ago, my little brother Curtis, was diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) Unknown to many, Curtis stood tall and fought this war quietly. Unfortunately, a few months ago his symptoms increased and a new fierce battle has begun. He now has a port and will be receiving treatments every 21 days. After 6 treatment, a bone marrow transplant will be performed. For those of you who have been impacted by cancer you know this monster destroys your body but not your spirit. The future is unknown, but Curtis has a lot of courage and determination. In order to survive he will require intense medical support. Not having to worry about the financial burden of this battle against cancer will help provide Curtis the energy to focus on doing what he needs - to defeat this enemy.
A little more about my baby brother Curtis. He was my first best friend and still is to this day. Taking a little from our favorite childhood movies “Rocky” and “Top Gun”: I am his Micky to his Rocky; we are each others “wingman”. He is stern, but loving. A wonderful outdoors man and provider. From what I hear, a super second grade teacher to all those little kiddos over the years. Curtis enjoys life, knows how to relax and ready to lend a hand when he can. Our hearts are broken for Curtis, but we believe in the power of prayer. I ask you to lift him up, as well as, his wife, children and our parents as they fight along side of him. He needs an army to help fight this war and we know you are out there.
