Wounded Veteran Adaptive Trike Fund

My name is Brandon Kellett I was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army I served 11 years as a Forward observer. I served 2 tours of duty in Iraq and sustained multiple injuries inculding Traumatic Brain and Spinal injuries I recieved the Purple Heart  for my wounds.  I am currently retired and on 100% disability. I don't like asking for handouts, but with my current situation I'm so motivated to get this going, so I will do what I must. 

I've tried to remain active since my retirement the result of which has only further damaged my spine and chronic degenerating brain function. Due to my chronic pain I have become less mobile and capable of exercising. I can no long participate in hiking or a variety of other activites that I previously enjoyed. I need assistance in purchasing a Recumbant Trike. Per the reccomendations of my medical team and physical therapists there arent many ways I can get the exercise I so desperately need to maintain my health. 

I have 3 soon to be 4 beautiful children and an incredible wife that is also my caretaker. They are all at the age where bike riding has become a big interest. I would very much like to participate with them and the prospect of being able to ride a bike again is exhilerating. I have dreams of riding with my family, please help me accomplish this goal. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. These things aren't cheap by any means and my  size and limitations mean I would need to get something that is a good fit and supports my back. I am only asking for a portion of what the cost would be. 

If all goes well I will be participating in various wounded warrior rides and fund raisers to pay it forward.

Beatrice is two ,she loves the outdoors and already tries to get on every bike she sees. Help her go for a ride with her dad. It's the only way I can keep up with these energetic little guys.
