In Loving Memory of Carol Angela Smith

Carolyn Michelle Smith lost her amazing mother, Carol Angela Smith who passed away from COVID-19 this Thursday, 4/16 at 1am in Englewood, NJ at The Lillian Booth Actors Fund Home.

Below is Carolyn's beautiful tribute to her mom:
My Deepest, most Heartfelt Thanks to close Family, Friends, and loved ones who’ve reached out with their condolences. If you knew her, loved her, and would like to contribute anything either to her memory (pictures, cards, flowers) or towards her Memorial (financial gifts), please send me a direct FB message, and I’ll send you my address. At this time I’m still processing the grief, so messages via FB only are the best way to reach me.

As an only child to a single mother, this is especially difficult. During a Pandemic, even more so. However I’m grateful for my amazing father, and cherished community of family and friends to help me through this time. In these past few days alone they’ve shown up for me in magnificent ways. Special thanks to: Michelle Duberry, Eliza Hammond, Mervyn Thompson, Nico Nicholas, MaryMartha Ford-Dieng, Soraya Broukhim, Janelle and Nadiyah Thompson, Sontaia Briggs, Amade Wainner, Amen Igbinosun, Jeremy Tardy, Harry Ford, Lee Colston, Stephanie Yu, Elyse Mirto, Avaria Smith, Margaret Ivey, Esther Chandler, and Ruby Carnavon-Burton and Lucy Seligson. ❤️

During this time we would love to lift our dear friend up and help her in anyway we can. Funds raised will go towards making sure Carolyn can fly safely back to the East Coast from her home in LA to be in NJ for the services, to help with costs for memorial and funeral and to help offset any costs associated with this loss (medical bills etc). Thank you so much in advance.  Any excess funds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Carol.
