Bridget’s Journey

Hi everyone!

I am posting on behalf of my dear friend Bridget McPhillips. Bridget, Zach and their kids (Maverick, Gloria and Blair) are truly beautiful and faith-filled people. They are a family who deserves all the love and support we have to offer!

Bridget received some news this past week that has shaken their lives. Bridget has been diagnosed with stage 3 primary angiosarcoma of the breast. I don’t want to share too much more than that since this is her journey, not mine. What I do know is that her future involves a probable combination of surgery, radiation, chemo and other treatments. Since this is such a rare and aggressive cancer, Bridget is in the process of seeking a second opinion which may involve travel to Texas. If she ends up doctoring in Texas, there could be lots of travel back and forth in the coming months.

Please do not feel obligated to give to this gofundme. I am simply starting this because so many people already have asked me how they can help this lovely family. I can say with certainty that your gifts will be appreciated.
