Saving Skippers Leg from amputation

Skipper is 6 months old and severly neglected, thin, ears infected, and very matted.   He was taken to a vet by his owner when she said he started to limp on the right leg. The vet , after examining him asvised her that it was broken.  Her response is "euthanize him!!!"   I don't have the money. When they questioned her of how it happened she became irrate "NO!!! My kids didn't do it."  They were able to get her to surrender the puppy.  They contacted A BETTER LIFE RESCUE and we immediately transported him to our vet Dr Penny in Coral Springs.   Xrays were taken confirming that it was severely broken.  The xrays were sent to Dr Holtsinger, orthopedic surgeon, who stated that given the severity that  pins would be needed to secure the little guy's leg.  Pls help us to meet our goal to have his surgery so desperately needed.  He was in so much pain but Dr Penny made him comfortable with pain meds.   You can go to our website and use our PayPal, at www.abetterlifepetrescue.com
