Mona is a resilient and dedicated 26-year-old, fluent in Arabic, English, and French, holding a degree in English and French Literature from Al Azhar University in Gaza. Mona, along with her family, has endured extraordinary hardships due to the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Their home, once filled with warmth and joy, has been tragically lost along with their belongings and sources of income. Mona’s beloved father and brother have been taken from them amidst the conflict.

Currently displaced and separated across multiple locations, Mona’s family struggles daily with scarce resources, extreme prices, and the absence of income. They face continuous uncertainty and severe challenges in securing basic necessities, constantly moving locations in search of shelter while walking under the threat of bullets, drones, or a bomb falling at any moment.
