In memory of Luca

We are incredibly saddened to share that our much-loved friend and colleague Luca Tagliapietra passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 11 December 2024.

Those of us who had the opportunity to get to know Luca will truly miss his warmth, kindness, and friendship. He was a pleasure to work with, bringing a humble approach and great humour to all that he did.

Having joined newcleo in June, Luca split most of his working time between our Turin and Geneva offices and had an immediate and hugely positive impact on all who he met. With his invaluable experience, he very quickly became an integral, highly valued, and respected member of both the security and wider newcleo teams.

Our thoughts are with Luca’s wife, three young children, family and friends, and we would ask our team to respect their space and privacy at this difficult time.

We have started a GoFundMe page, where any colleague who would like to can make a donation and leave a note in Luca’s memory. All funds raised will go directly to Luca’s family.

We will share news about any opportunities to pay your respect in line with the family’s wishes when we have it.
