As we attempt to navigate this period of unsettlement, we are heartbroken to have let the majority of our staff go until we know it is safe to open our doors again.
Prairie Grass Cafe offers curbside service during this difficult time because we want our guests to enjoy food that is familiar, sustaining and delicious. Our business relies on regular customers. I would venture to guess that they feel like it’s a second home. We built our reputation on consistency, a sense of community, integrity of our service, and delicious food. All of our employees take pride in the fact that we support local farms, sustainable seafood and each other.
Many of our staff members are long-term employees, and we have all come to feel like a family. We have spent countless hours working together to feed and serve the people that patronize our restaurant. Your continued business ensures that when it is safe and legal for our employees to work again, we still have a restaurant for them to come back to.
In the meantime, because our hourly and tipped employees live paycheck to paycheck, any amount of money you can generously donate is appreciated. All donations go directly to them and will be divided equally. We are so very grateful for your support throughout our 15 years of service at Prairie Grass Cafe.
