Pranab is a gifted infectious disease nerd, physician, and epidemiologist with a love for everything intellectual, witty, and related to living beings. An avid reader, linguist, poet, tabla player, sarcastic comedian, vintage car fanatic, medical history fan, #GrammarNazi, Potterphile, Oslerphile and Whovian. He transforms any room into passionate arguments, with logic, with an admirable grasp on the curious & fascinating facts of the world, interwoven to have you both laugh and think. Pranab, is fondly known as “Dr. Chatterjee” by his mentees, and “PC” by his friends, and can be found spending hours in the Daily Grind Café patiently listening to Masters’ students as they pour out doubts and questions about life, school, as he passionately offers tips and tricks of navigating all things Public Health/Medicine. A born mentor, Pranab’s passion for reaching out to students and guiding them through academic trials is motivating this effort to raise funds for his school Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, a place that was pivotal in shaping and molding our beloved Pranab into an exceptional person he is.

Pranab's vision is to extend unwavering support to the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya's grassroots efforts, with a primary focus on offering free education and mental health resources to underprivileged children, a mission he was working on to build before his current acute illness. This vision stands as a testament to his belief that education is not just a right but a powerful tool for social upliftment, and a vital step toward a more equitable and compassionate world.
