Pray for A'mani

Donation protected
On Tuesday, July 4th, the family of A'mani Clark was celebrating Independence Day with other family members in the City of St. Louis on Shreve & Lee. A'mani was running away with his older brother Brandon, from a firework that was lit & appeared to be coming towards them when an unthinkable tragedy occurred. A driver sped through the neighborhood, ignoring the speed limit & struck A'mani. Not hearing the accident take place, Brandon noticed that A'mani was not nearby anymore, when they started off running away from the firework together. While looking for A'mani, a driver, drove up to Brandon to tell him that it was a child laying in the street. Brandon could not see the child’s face because the child was laying under another vehicle. As Brandon was approaching the vehicle, he was able to recognize the shoes of the child under the vehicle, to discover that it was A'mani laying under the vehicle. A'mani was knocked unconscious from being hit so hard from the vehicle. There was no vehicle in sight leaving Brandon confused because the driver that hit A'mani had already fled the scene. A'mani’s Mother, Father & siblings were with him as he was rushed to an area hospital. A'mani is suffering critical injuries.

We are grateful to report that although his condition has made very small improvements his injuries are still substantially serious due to A'mani suffering from a brain injury strictly related to this accident. Unfortunately, there are still many unknowns existing for his recovery due to the severity of A'mani's injuries. The family of A'mani Clark is asking the community, to keep prayers & positive thoughts in mind for A'mani. To know A'mani, is to love A'mani for his personality, thoughtfulness, determination, and perseverance he presents everyday for a 14-yr-old that is currently fighting for his life. These things will need to be adhered to, in order to maintain the extended recovery ahead of A'mani.

At the request of the family, please keep focus on prayers for A'mani and allow respectful space while they continue to get through this tragedy. This GoFundMe account has been established to assist the Clark family with medical bills and other financial needs that may arise during this trying time.

Thank You,
The Clark Family
