Pray for baby Riker
Baby Riker was born June 1st, 2020. He had a rough start to life as his colon was underdeveloped. His surgery was a success and he has been growing and thriving.
On August 9th, he went to the ER and they found that he had scar tissues wrapped around his small intestines. Due to the lack of blood flow he developed sepsis and went into multi-organ failure. He was transported to Children’s Hospital on Monday evening. During transport he suffered a lengthy seizure.
He had his third surgery in 48 hours, and is fighting a very difficult battle. The care at Children’s Hospital has been phenomenal. In the best case scenario we will be in Denver (away from home) for several months. Thankfully Andrew is able to go on FMLA and take the necessary time off work to be with Riker and Leah.
While at Children's Hospital Colorado, our Hyundai was stolen at 10 a.m. from the parking garage. Police said it was the 4th Hyundai stolen in the past 24 hours from that garage.
Our Geico insurance reimburses only $200 for our personal property inside the car. Because we are traveling, we had all of our belongings: laptop, retainer, headphones; car seat, clothes;etc . Our baby’s belongings are the most important thing that were taken.
We are asking for aid for the expenses these trials have placed on us.
Riker is still fighting, so we ask that you please pray for Riker, keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. Please not only pray for healing, but also for strength, comfort, and peace. Thank you for any support you can provide.
