Prayers and help for Koby!

Hi, my name is Kelsey Wiens, auntie to Koby Machniak. He is a son to Lea Wiens and Dwayne Machniak. Koby is also a loving brother to Abby Machniak, Macy Minty, Emily, Dylan, and Finn Mannle.
Koby loves the cross..... motocross that is... and also to the cross of Jesus Christ....his love for the track is one that many know and his faith in God surely defines him.
Koby has won many awards and has been placed at high ranking in his classes.. Koby also has his own personal track in his back yard, provided by his loving mother, and was never short of using it!
- Koby was air lifted by STARS sunday July 27th from Virden Manitoba to the children's hospital in Winnipeg.
Koby was doing what he loved! Racing!!! Then the unimaginable happened, his race fell short.... he is now trying his best to fight and get through....he has traumatic brain injury (TBI) and C4-C5 spinal fractures and cuts and bruises all over.. we anticipate that Koby will now have a long journey ahead of him.
This will may lead to financial hardship on his parents. They live in a rural area and will have to travel many kilometers to seek medical help, therapist and specialist appointments.
Any financial support, donations, and prayer are greatly appreciate
Update:
Koby Machniak opened his eyes on day 2 unable to move or talk.
Day three: Koby said his first words, being a 16 year old boy we got; “Oh F**k”.
Koby also started wiggling his toes when the spealists would ask and squeezing hands on command. He started drinking from a straw and eating liquid foods.
Day 4: All tubes and IV’s were removed! Koby sat up on the side of his bed all by himself with his feet on the ground. He could lift his feet a foot off the ground. He also started eating solid foods.
Day 5: Koby stood up and walked on his own!! In the middle of the night he jumped over the bedside rails and headed to the washroom. His dad was with him overnight and didn't hear him until he was half way there. Haha
Day 6: Koby is speaking 6 word sentences, he knows exacly what's going on around him and is listening to everything we say. He's even cracking jokes! Koby can read, he's doing puzzles and started physiotherapy today. We just got the last MRI results his bleeding is not getting worse and his spine should heal 100%. No disks are damaged and the nerves look healthy.
Neurosurgeon team says time will heal.
He is blowing everyone's mind how fast he his healing. He is a fighter like crazy.
The brain is a complex organ. There is no time line for recovery. Every scenario is different. We have learned to not only take it day by day but minute to minute. The changes and healing is happening so fast.
We are all ready to do whatever it takes to get our sweet, kind, loving, energetic, driven, funny, passionate, sarcastic, talented, gifted man back A.S.A.P
We have no idea when we will see home again or when we can get back to our jobs.
We just want to thank everyone for the support and prayers. All your donations and prayers are being noticed and felt. We can feel the holy spirit is here with us and he is showing us signs!
