Prayers and Support for Brooke and kids

Hi everyone, we are raising funds to support Brooke, Celeste, and Baby Junkin as they navigate their way through the unimaginable loss of their husband and father, Zach Junkin. My brother-in-law, Zach, passed away completely unexpectedly shortly after walking in his door after a jiu-jitsu training session. There are so many things Brooke and the kids will have to cope with throughout the future and if we can help ease the worry of their expenses that would be a small blessing. Between the funeral, raising children, maternity leave, and loss of an income we would appreciate anything you are able to donate to help our family through this tragedy. I will be collecting donations on Brooke’s behalf and will send them to her in their entirety as a lump sum upon the fundraisers completion.

Anyone who knew my brother-in-law, Zach Junkin, knows what a determined, smart-alecky, adventurous, kind man he was and how much he loved his family. Brooke, Celeste, and little Baby Junkin (making her entrance in November) were the loves of his life and his dreams come true. I’m sure everyone who knew Zach has at least one good, belly laugh inducing story they could share about him. He was a guy who loved to make a splash with his antics that made us both guffaw and giggle. These are things that will be sorely missed by many. In addition to giving us all a good chuckle his hobbies included: competing in mma fights, fishing with Brooke and Celeste, going on mosquito infested adventures through Labrador, and grilling one mean burger.

Apart from Brooke, Celeste and Baby Junkin, Zach was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his parents, Candice and Marvin, brother Isaac (wife Hannah and their kids Piper and Teddy), sister Emily (husband Steve and their kids Charlotte, Jack, Felicity, Wesley, and John), brother Jeremy (wife Katy and their kids Hannah and Luke), in-laws Rob and Elaine, brother-in-law Shane (girlfriend Mel), and sister-in-law Erinn. Along with so many friends we don’t have the time to list them all here. Zach touched many lives and we will always remember the wonderful man he was.
