With profound sadness and bottomless grief, we share that our sweet Joe passed away this evening.

The reality is that Joe died in our driveway on Wednesday night. Everything we’ve gone through since has been our desperate attempt to bring him back.

We are deeply grateful to the incredible medical teams who gave us the gift of an extra 72 hours with Joe. Their tireless efforts allowed us precious time to pray, cry, laugh, rock out to Joe’s favorite tunes, and celebrate Mass together.

In these final days, Joe was surrounded by so much love—his parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles and great-aunts and uncles. He passed from this world the way he lived in it: surrounded by those who loved him most.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support through this unimaginable journey. Joe will forever be our fighter, our light, and our joy. Please continue to hold him and our family in your hearts as we navigate this devastating loss.
