Prayers for Baby Mason

Hello, My name is Amy. Myself and my family are fundraising for my cousin Nicole Barron and her family who has gotten the most heartbreaking news today!

The newest member of our family 3 Day Old baby Mason has been airlifted from the Janeway to Halifax for emergency heart surgery.

Baby Mason was diagnosed this morning with a heart defect called Coarctation of the main Aorta.

The main aorta to his heart is pinched off and has caused it to become narrow therefore his blood flow isn’t moving the way it should and the left side of his heart isn’t pumping like it should. Mason was Transported (airlifted) to the IWK children’s hospital for surgery around 8:30pm this evening.

His mom, Nicole and Dad Terry are devastated by this news and we want to help in anyway we can.

Mom and dad, Nicole and Terry fly out at 6:15am tomorrow morning November 30th to meet Mason at the hospital.

Nicole and Terry’s older son 5 year old Carter is being taken care of while his mom and dad deal with this right now.

They have no idea how long they will be gone and not being able to work to pay daily bills will be such a financial burden. We are hoping to ease that burden for them!

Please, if anyone is able to help at all every little bit counts.

We understand that this is such a hard time of year for everyone financially with Christmas just around the corner.
