Prayers for Baby Rocky

Rocky Patrick Graham was born on October 24, 2016 with a rare congenital heart defect (CHD) called Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). He weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 22 inches long. He is such a little fighter and is proving to be so strong! He is a BLESSING!!! Rocky is one of four, and has two adoring older sisters and one older brother.
Little Rocky spent two weeks in the NICU after his birth awaiting the date of his first major open heart surgery. During this time, he gained all his birth weight back (and then some!) and was eating like a champ! He almost made it up to 9 pounds! Upon learning of Baby Rocky's surgery date, he has since been transferred to Los Angeles Children's Hospital for his first surgery.
On November 8, 2016, at just 2 weeks and one day old, Rocky under went the first of three major heart surgeries to correct his four heart defects. Rocky's heart surgeon, performed a pulmonary artery banding, and an atriel septectomy during this surgery. Rocky is still in the ICU at Children's at this time, but is recovering very well! It is anticipated that he will be able to come home within the next few weeks for the first time!
Rocky will face some up hill battles in the coming months and years. But we know that he is STRONG! He will still need two more major open heart surgeries... one at around six months old, and another around the age of 2-3 years old.

This account was created to help The Graham Family keep up with impending hospital and medical expenses, as well as to help provide during times when his parents must take long periods of time out of work to care for this sweet little one. It is also my hope to help raise awareness for children with CHD and DORV hearts. Please keep this sweet family and little baby Rocky in your prayers! He brings such joy to all that know him and is already SO loved by so many!
