Prayers for Ellen

Ellen Silvestro was my close friend Ame Silvestro’s Mother. She was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma, otherwise known as Kidney Cancer. It came on right before Covid 19 and it came on very sudden. In that time frame she had surgery to remove the cancerous cells but unfortunately it wasn’t all removed. Doctors started her on immunotherapy which she had 2 treatments of over a six week course but it didn’t take. Over those six weeks Ellen declined incredibly quickly. She was admitted into the hospital on Thursday December 3rd and passed that following Friday December 11th.
She left behind many people who cared so deeply for her. Her family is waiting until Spring to have a memorial so they can have nice weather for something outside. In the meantime, there will be much grief with the holidays coming, on top the “normal” stress due to Covid. This fundraiser is to help with any expenses that were left behind or to cover any expenses going forward during this tough time. Anything you can do to support and help my friend and her family is beyond appreciated.
