Prayers for Jul that has sever covid

Hi, my name is Norma. Mother to Julissa

As some of you know My daughter Julissa went to emergency October 11 with all symptoms of covid and more. She got a swab done that came back negative! She gets antibiotics and sent home. Oct 13 her viral rash has spread like wild flower over her body and the no improvement so back to emerg we went. She gets admitted into Grande Prairie hospital as her rash increased, her white blood count is going up, her coughs are hurting her throat, fever on and off, headaches, her tongue knees and feet all swollen. Pale and dehydrated. Blood pressure increasing. And hasn’t eaten in days and all she does is sleep. Two days there and they midivaced her out to Edmonton to the ICU unit. Her blood pressure was not going down and no progress was being made. They need to keep a close eye on her so it does not lead to a heart attack and cause permanent damage or worst! a mother’s worst fear. BUT TWO DAYS HERE AND THEY HAVE HER BLOOD PRESSURE UNDER CONTROL NOW! We’ve been moved to peds unit since last night. But her oxygen level went down this morning. Reason why she is now on breathing tubes. She meets with a cardiologist (heart doctor) pharmacy team. Dietitian. All tomorrow and needs to do another echo testing to make sure her heart is ok as well as the usual daily blood work.

She was up and more alert last night which I loved but today is diff. I think that exhausted her right out cause now all she’s doing is sleeping again Far from recovery still.

This sever case of covid is still attacking at her organs as well. There has been 25 other cases like hers in kids in the past year and half. EXCEPT the viral rash. She’s the only one. So more tests to rule stuff out. She is in the best hospital in Canada. All we can do is pray they can help fix this.

Because We came here with a small computer duffel bag we came with just a couple pair of clothes. And finding out we will be here anywhere from 10 days to beyond. And I cannot leave the room. If I do I cannot come back in. (Covid protocols in hospital with covid patients) so I have to look for ppl to do shopping for me here in the city when and if we need anything. And when she is discharged from here she will have to do hospital stay still in GP. And then when she’s discharged from there she will have to be on strong steroid meds for a month after. So a lot going on and will be keep going on for the next few months. I have decided I will be unenrolling her from school for the remainder of the year.

My husband is at home with our other 6 kids in GP. It’s a stressing time to think of stuff they need at home for them and stuff we need while we’re here and bills will be piled up soon as I am not home to be on top of all this. If you would like to help us in any way that would be appreciated.

I’m not a asker. I’m the person who goes above and does for everyone . But rn… putting my pride aside, I’m just overwhelmed as it is. I’m also gonna trouble u and ask for one more thing. Please I beg of you to keep continuing to keep Jul in ur prayers.

We are fighting this with her. And behind the faith of God I know she will beat this.
