Prayers for Parr

The Gurnee FOP Social Lodge #266 has started this fundraising effort to support our coworker as part of our Gurnee Police, Illinois family who is battling stage 4 breast cancer. This is not the first time that Chris has battled cancer. Each time she has been presented with the disease, she has risen to the challenge and beaten the odds. Unfortunately, in recent months Chris has relapsed. She has undergone all treatments available to her and the cancer is dominating.

Chris spent 34 years working for Wheeling Police Department in Illinois as both a dispatcher and a patrol officer. After retiring in 2016, she started working for Gurnee Police as a traffic safety technician. She has spent countless hours helping the public in her career, now it is time to help her out in her time of need.

Chris is strong in her faith and a devoted member of the Quentin Bible Baptist Church.
She is surrounded by loving friends and family, but most of all her 14 year old son will shoulder a legacy of commitment to her family, her friends, her church and her career.

Please consider donating to our fundraiser, as all money received will be given to Chris for medical costs, life expenses and trust support for her family.

Primos Restaurant 720 Milwaukee Ave in Gurnee on Friday, May 25th from 6pm to 10pm in which all donations and money raised will be provided directly to Chris.
