Prayers of Healing for Ryker

Thank you all for visiting Ryker’s GOFUNDME page.  Ryker is four years old and very active.  He had an accident involving a sharp knife slicing his eye.  He has 9 stitches in his eyeball which could leave a large scar across the area of vision.  The lens of his eye is completely ruptured and he has no vision at this time but can see a difference in light and dark.  Ryker may need a cornea replacement depending on the healing process.  Like any body part replacement, Ryker’s body could reject the new cornea.  He has at least 3 surgeries ahead if not more. With each surgery his chances of infection increase.  Also, at his age the optic nerve and his brain are not fully connected or developed, so with the eye not being used and only seeing blurry images or "bad" images the brain could basically shut off that eye.  Ryker would then lose vision completely.  Ryker still has a long road ahead of him and lots of trips to Dallas which means lots of days of missed work by Mom & Dad.  The money that is donated will be used for travel expenses to Children’s Hospital, food, and medical expenses.  I just ask for everyone to continue praying for Ryker and for us. It's easy to get mad and ask "why him?", but we can't do that.  We are staying faithful to God and trusting He has a plan.  Ryker LOVES going to church and seeing all of his family and friends.  Please pray for complete healing of Ryker’s vision.  “For with God nothing shall be impossible!! James, Ryker, his little brother and I want to thank everyone for their prayers, gifts, and donations. The amount of love and support our friends, family, and community have shown us is truly amazing. I can't even find the words to describe how thankful we are.  God bless all of you. We love you guys!
