The Cote Family

On Monday November 28th, 2016, the unthinkable and unexpected happened to the beautiful Cote Family from Old Saybrook, CT. Angelika unexpectedly passed away at 38, leaving her husband and three beautiful children without a wife, best friend, and mother. Beside those most important roles, many know Angelika through various avenues. Whether through her younger years out West through childhood, schooling and college, to moving to the East coast to be with her true love Jimmy, where she spent many years working as a manager at Old Navy, or at various school or extra curricular activities through town for the kids. All who met Angelika knew her biggest pride and joy was her husband and children. Her absolute devotion and unconditional love for her husband and children were always visible through the eyes of many. Angelika was self-less and always wanted to make sure everyone was "ok," and now Jimmy and the children are left to figure out how to be "ok" which seems unimaginable. As life has shown her family in the last few days, many things are unexpected. The unexpected has now happened, and now Jimmy is left to pick up the pieces and make every day count for those beautiful children. Establishing a new way to live seems unbearable at this time. Finding a new method of health care coverage for Jimmy and the children now, continuing to complete their renovations that are nearly done on their beautiful home, Christmas coming, birthdays in the next few months, just to name a few. When writing this, it's easy to think of what Angelika would do if it were one of us. She would do whatever possible to help anyone. She would give her shirt off her back, help with children, or even establish fundraisers. At this time, so much is happening for this family emotionally, however life continues to move around them. With expected and unexpected financial obligations to come in the near and far future, we ask that any donation to this family will be most appreciated.
