Pray for Kumamoto
Donation protected
The earthquake that struck southern Japan on April 14th of this year caused an enormous amount of damage. The Kumamoto and Ooita prefectures in particular have been devastated. In the weeks that have passed following this tragedy, unfortunately, it has not been brought to the attention of the general public on campus here in New York.
As Japanese Students studying at an American Education Institution, Taishi Misumi, Keiko Nagami, and Yuhei Hori represent the Japanese Student Community at Stony Brook University to raise awareness and fundraise for the victims. We would appreciate if students, clubs, organizations, and faculty members can be part of our movement and support the victims of the earthquake.
We appreciate any support we receive for the victims of this disaster. All donations will be collected by us via GoFundsMe and will then be sent to the JapanSociety (http://www.japansociety.org/) and its Kumamoto earthquake relief fund. Thank you very much for your warm support, and we look forward to providing as much help and awareness as possible.
