On August 24, 2019, Trey Wallace a fourteen-year-old boy from Alton, Kansas was visiting Oceans of Fun with his youth group. He had an incident in the wave pool causing him to go underwater. Rescuers pulled him out and preformed CPR and a heartbeat was eventually regained at the hospital. Trey had significant injuries and after an MRI confirmed his brain could no longer sustain his life, the heart breaking decision was made to remove him from the ventilator and donate his organs.  His family and friends were believing for a miracle for Trey but Trey became the miracle for others.   His family is facing significant financial needs for Trey's funeral and medical bills. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7 at 10:30 am at Stockton High School in Stockton Kansas where Trey was a student.
