Jason and I have been trying to get pregnant naturally and we have failed for 4 years. In August, I had a laparoscopic surgery and received a diagnosis of stage 4 endometriosis with multiple endometriomas (largest one measuring 15cm). With my bowels, tubes and ovaries “cemented” to the back of uterus by the adhesions, my gynecological oncologist suggested that I get pregnant ASAP with the help of a fertility specialist! We have shared our struggles with fertility with our families and after failed rounds of clomid, we are moving to the big leagues. We are now seeing Dallas IVF to help our dreams come true! After our consultation, it was stated that since my adhesions are so dense, we are not able to start with IUI and must go straight to IVF.
