Praying for Maja

As I struggle to write this, I hope this eases some pain for my niece Katija and her immediate family. Sweet Maja LaRee was brought into this world on May 9, 2020 - Maja’s smile would light up any room.

There has been so much pain and devastation watching these events unravel and this is a situation no mother or child should have to experience. Sadly, Maja’s injuries are too extensive for her little body. At just barely 3 months old we have been told Maja has little to no brain activity and she will be removed from life support in the coming days.

Katija will have a long road ahead of her with many expenses to come - transporting Maja’s body back to Katija’s home state, burial costs, travel, etc. I want to thank everyone for the love and support that has been shown to our family through this difficult time. ❤️❤️
