Praying for the Peck family

September of 2022 our brother-in-law Kevin Peck (age 54), was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer with a spot on the liver. Kevin is employed with Lakes Gas of Bemidji and continues to work when he is able, usually the week after chemo treatments. The chemo treatments make Kevin very tired in the days that follow the treatments.

Five months later in February of 2023 our sister Angie Peck (age 49), who is married to our brother-in-law Kevin, was also diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer with a spot on the liver as well. Angie is a teacher with Red Lake Elementary and has been a teacher for 20+ years. Angie continues to work every other week between chemo appointments.

Kevin and Angie have a 15-year-old daughter, Sadie Peck who is a freshman at Bemidji High School. Sadie is busy with schoolwork, being involved in choir, friends, and her job at Classic Cuts hair salon in Bemidji. To this point they have been able to keep up with Sadie’s needs for driving to work and school events along with working as they can and medical appointments. They are working as hard as they can to keep Sadie’s day-to-day life happenings and schedule as regular as possible.

Kevin and Angie have chemo appointments every other week and their treatments are currently on the same week. Angie has chemo on Monday and Kevin has chemo on Tuesday.

We are raising funds to assist the Peck family with medical expenses that medical insurance does not cover and day-to-day financial needs. Any amount helps greatly and would be very much appreciated.

At the request of the family, please keep your focus on prayers for Kevin, Angie, and Sadie. Prayers for healthy healing are as important as any donation.
