Precious Parrot attacked by vicious Hawk

Hi, my name is Ann Marie and I am fundraising to help offset the veterinarian bill I have accrued. Charlie was outside her cage inside our garage when a hawk flew in and grabbed her by its claw. Miraculously, with the quick reflexes of my boyfriend, the hawk was grabbed and he was able to remove Charlie from the hawks talons. Boyfriend was also bit by the bird. Charlie is unable to stand or walk. Her injuries are internal swelling to her intestines and kidney. Both are pressing on the nerves that control her legs. With antibiotics, anti inflammatory, and high protein pellet food, Dr. Nemetz believes she will heal within the next couple of weeks. However, I was not prepared for the high vet fee. I know as an animal owner, we take into account the cost of taking care of a loved ones. Unfortunately, this came at the worst time for me. My company is now on strike and I am not getting paid. Charlie is the sweetest bird and loves to cuddle and sit on our shoulders. She gives kisses and likes to nibble on ears. Any help towards Charlie’s vet bill is appreciated. Thank you all.
